Dear AAA Customer,
We reach out to you today to express our concern for those currently impacted by COVID-19, as well as those at risk from its spread in our region. With the anticipation of continued and increasing spread, AAA is monitoring the situation closely and adhering to the recommendations of the CDC for personal protective equipment (PPE), hand hygiene, social distancing as well as taking direction from our government and health leaders. See a list of the specific precautions we are currently taking.
Our AHJ leaders in the fire protection community are indicating at this time our efforts to maintain fire protection systems shall continue as they are a matter of life safety (this is consistent with the state of California’s recommendations yesterday of the sheltering-in-place guidance not applying to those in services providing ‘public safety’). For local AHJ-specific information please contact your local fire department directly as allowances under the circumstances, when available, vary by jurisdiction.
Should guidance be prescribed by the scientific or governmental community that restricts us from providing service, or you communicate to us that you wish to postpone visits from our staff, we will do so.
Our technicians will be contacting you to schedule service and in circumstances where we routinely provide services without confirmation, technicians or office staff will be leaving a message giving you the opportunity to cancel before we arrive.
- Should your property be due for regularly scheduled service this month or next but you do not feel comfortable having our technician(s) visit your property at this time, please email info@aaafire.com providing your name and phone number, property name and address, as well as when you would like to have us contact you to reschedule services, and we will make note of this request and postpone services.
- Should you have specific PPE requests of our technicians before we provide service, please make those clear, as well.
Finally, as we implement procedures internally to keep business moving forward we ask for your patience as we do our best to continue to deliver our services with as little disruption as possible.
As you know, this situation is very fluid. Should federal and state guidance necessitate the need for us to change the guidance above, additional communication will be provided at that time.
As we rethink how we interact with you and retract our business in the interest of doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19, we ask you to consider doing the same. We’re all in this together.
Sincerely,
Your friends at AAA Fire Protection
