DOES AAA’S TESTING/CERTIFICATION PROCESS CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF GENERATOR?
No – our process is determined by the type and amount of equipment your generator needs to be able to support, as well the size of your building. We most commonly test Generac and Cummins generators, but we can test your system regardless of model.
DOES AAA FIRE CERTIFY BOTH COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL GENERATORS?
AAA Fire Protection only certifies commercial generators.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY GENERATOR NEEDS TO BE TESTED?
Generators are marked with the date that they need to be tested next. AAA Fire Protection will also keep track of your testing cycle. We’ll notify you when you generator is due for its next test.
DOES AAA FIRE PROVIDE MAINTENANCE OR INSTALL GENERATORS?
No, at this time we only provide certification and testing of existing generators. Should you need to replace your generator, we can point you in the right direction.
WHICH KINDS OF GENERATORS CAN AAA FIRE CERTIFY?
Our team can test and certify all types of generators. Our testing process varies primarily by the size of the building, the type of equipment, and overall electrical load, rather than the type of generator.
