DOES THE TESTING AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF GENERATOR?
No – our process is determined by the type and amount of equipment your generator needs to be able to support, as well as the size of your building. We most commonly test Generac and Cummins generators, but we can test your system regardless of model.
DOES AAA FIRE CERTIFY BOTH COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL GENERATORS?
AAA Fire Protection only certifies commercial generators.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY GENERATOR NEEDS TO BE TESTED?
Generators are marked with the date that they need to be tested next. AAA Fire Protection will also keep track of your testing cycle. We’ll notify you when your generator is due for its next test.
DOES AAA FIRE PROVIDE MAINTENANCE OR INSTALL GENERATORS?
No, at this time we only test and provide certification for existing generators. Should you need to replace your generator, we can point you in the right direction.
